Alpha Excel Conference

 

The Alpha Excel Conference focuses on two of Alpha Phi Alpha, Fraternity, Incorporated’s National Programs, Project Alpha and Go To High School Go To College.

 

Project Alpha is a National program designed in partnership with the March of Dimes to accomplish the following objectives:

• Share knowledge by combating ignorance and fear with factual information;

• Change attitudes by providing motivation toward positive changes in sexual behavior;

• Provide skills by creating a sense of empowerment and self-esteem.

 

Go to High School Go to College is a National program designed to encourage advancement to higher education, encourage academic achievement, and build self-esteem. This program hopes to fulfill the following objectives:

• Improve Self-esteem;

• Encourage participants to complete high school and pursue higher education;

• Increase social awareness and problem-solving skills to make responsible decisions.
